Join us in Red Ribbon Spirit Week 2020
October 26–October 30, 2020 is Red Ribbon Spirit Week. The week’s focus is #BeHappyBeBraveBeDrugFree.  Each day we will focus on a "drug free" message and wear the following attire:

Monday, 10/26: Wear College Attire.  "Follow Your Dreams, Don't Do Drugs."
Tuesday, 10/27: Wear neon colors.  "Your Future is Bright, Don't Do Drugs."

Bully Prevention Week 2020
October 19–October 23, 2020 kicks off BCPS Bullying Prevention Week. The week’s focus is “KINDNESS MATTERS”. Each day we will be focusing on a different color to wear and a character trait.

Monday, 10/19: Wear Blue for Civility. 
Tuesday, 10/20: Wear Green for Equity and Diversity
Wednesday, 10/21: Wear Orange for Unity
Thursday, 10/22: Wear Red for Respect

Parent and Family Engagement Virtual Meetings
Baltimore County Public Schools invites parents to join BCPS for the annual review of Policy and Rule 1270 titled Parent and Family Engagement. This annual review is an opportunity for parents to provide input regarding the parent and family involvement policy. Parents are invited to attend any of the virtual meetings listed below. 

November 16, 2020   6:30 p.m.
November 19, 2020   10:00 a.m.
November 20, 2020   3:00 p.m.

Copies of the parent involvement policy and rule are below so that you may review these documents prior to the annual review meeting.

ESOL Magnet Events
The Magnet Programs office is working with the ESOL office to provide
opportunities for our ESOL families to learn about the magnet application process in their native language. We will be holding virtual meetings with interpreters on the dates below.  

Oct. 14 @ 2pm for Spanish speakers

Oct. 15 @ 6pm for speakers of all other languages

BCPS Magnet Applications Now Available 
Applications for 2021-2022 BCPS Magnet Programs are now available!  The application deadline is Friday, November 6, 2020 at 1 p.m. To access the application, virtual information events, and for more information, please visit the Magnet Programs Webpage.

About Our School:
Our school is composed of a group of talented and dedicated teachers and staff who go above and beyond every day to ensure that our students leave Grange ready to lead.  Along with the Grange faculty, the PTA is dedicated to our students, our families, and our community.  Programs such as our winter and spring musicals, our Art Show, field day and STEAM night are just a few of the many events that help bring the students, parents, staff and community together for one great cause - student achievement!!

Built in 1960, Grange Elementary School is located in the Southeastern corner of Baltimore County, the county which surrounds the metropolitan city of Baltimore, Maryland. We are supported by our active PTA and incredible volunteers!
